Two years ago I wrote a blog about how  salespeople always say its the best time to buy no matter whats going on with  the economy, etc.  As it turned out, we hit our adjusted low after the 2009 crisis and it took over 5 years to start the up trend. So if you hadnt purchased prior to 2013 you missed the bottom.  Prices started to increase again and from the first quarter of 2015 to present have been as close to normal appreciation as they used to be but  we have huge increases in certain areas! Very popular areas of Portland and surrounding townships are being driven up.
